A tribute to Jim Petrie Part Two.

Yesterday's mashup was so big, I had to split this into two parts. :)  This mashup first appeared on the blog  on 28/6/2011, 8/9/2011 and 31/8/2014.

Welcome to part two of my look at Jim Petrie, and we start with the Sparky offices' (alleged) tea lady, named Minnie.

Comic Title: Minnie, the Sparky Office Tea-Lady

Comic: Sparky

First Appearance: Issue 466

Final Appearance: Issue 642

Whenever you visit the Sparky office, don’t, whatever you do, don’t drink the tea (or the coffee) delivered by the resident tea lady. Her brews are more like witches brews, as the following two episodes (the first from issue 589, dated 1/5/76 and the second, issue 591, dated 15/5/76) demonstrates.

We have another two strips, and the first is from the 4/9/1976 issue, while the last one came from the issue dated 30/4/1977.

We now come to where I did my tribute to Jim, with some more Incredible Sulk, and Minnie the Minx.  See yesterday's post for the stats.

First off, Here is Minnie from the issue dated 13/3/1965/

Here now, is Sulk from No. 68, issue dated 6/9/1980.

We conclude our tribute with the strip, Softy Sir from School Fun.

Comic Title: Softy Sir
Comic: School Fun
First Appearance: No. 1
Final Appearance: No. 33

Continued in Buster.  I'm sure it continued in Buster for a while.  I don't have the stats for it's run in Buster. (Softy Sir's strip did not continue, but became a scondary character in the Young Arfur strip.  Thanks, Andy.)

This episode first appeared 15/10/1983.

This now concludes my tribute to Jim Petrie.  More mashups coming in half an hour.
