COURT ORDERS FORMER ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNOR, JIM NWOBODO TO VACATE FROM ABUJA MANSION

A High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered former Anambra State Governor,Chief Jim Nwobodo to vacate a mansion located in the highbrow Maitama district in Abuja over unpaid rent.
Justice S.B. Belgore gave the order following a suit brought by the owners of the mansion, Adin-Miles International Ltd.
Justice Belgore gave the order upon finding out that Nwobodo had defaulted in paying rent and refused to relinquish possession of the property at the expiration of tenancy.
The property is a six bedroom mansion with one bedroom guest chalet and two room boys quarters located at 24 Ona Crescent, Plot 768 Cadastral Zone A5, Maitama Abuja.
Adin Miles in the suit filed claimed four reliefs against Nwobodo including that he should deliver vacant possesssion of the property, ordered to pay 11million naira outstanding rent and renovate the premises or pay 3 million to the plaintiff to renovate same.
