At the beginning of this month, Hoodrich Pablo Juan served up his latest full-length studio project, DMV. The follow-up to this past May’s BLO: The Movie LP, DMV delivered 15 new songs to listeners, including collaborations with Gucci Mane, Wiz Khalifa, Southside, Zaytoven, TM88, Ronny J, Tay Keith, Danny Wolf, MPR Tito and more. Continuing to support the aforementioned album, the popular rapper is revisiting the Maaly Raw-produced DMV record “Water Boi” for a new, JuddyRemixDem-helmed music video.
“I want to be able to have everything of my own. I want to have my own clothing label, my own shoes I put on, my own socks. I want to have my own toothpaste, my own toothbrushes. I want to have my own TVs. I want to make my own water. I want to make my own food, meals at night, breakfast. I want to have my own restaurants. I want to have everything. I feel like the world is mine. I ain’t gon never stop,” Hoodrich Pablo Juan shared with HipHopDX during a 2017 interview. “Music is real life like the gateway drug. It’s going to open the door for the rest of the arenas to be there. You can preach, or you can rap. But either way, you’re getting to somebody’s head. You patting into their brain, the way they think, and they also get a chance to know who you is. I think music is a good route for opening up.”
